Brrrr it's cold inside and out

We've had snow here for the last couple of days. Gotta find my gloves and winter stuff soon, this walking for blocks with a thin jacket, no hat or gloves and wet hair is not doing me any good. But I've been too busy at work to notice whether I'm sick or not. I did notice that it's a Friday today and a weekend coming up.

The wind is whistling and howling (what a duet) outside and I don't feel like driving over the windy interstate bridge today to get to work. So I may take the bus although I haven't ridden on the bus for years and years. They have this new, complicated system with tokens, cards, cash, coins all going into various different slots of a machine in the front. Not to be unkind, but considering the variety of people who ride the bus, I think I can figure it out. I'll let you know. Have a great weekend! Or, should I say, have a weekend!

PBS, are you having an early Winter?? Just seems a little unusual to be having snow so soon, or am i wrong? Spooky weather patterns are freaking me out!

I heard it was snowing in PA too yesterday, which is not unusual for there.

That's the one thing I don't miss about home. Snow, and shoveling, just for the plows to come and push it all in again, and then more shoveling. Yuck.

Be careful if you do take the bus, been there, done that, and it's dern scary.

Down near Niagara Falls, they had an unprecedented foot of snow. They can't find anything like it in the records -- not way backs into the 1800s. But nothing here yet.

We actually had snow here this week. ACTUAL REAL LIVE SNOW! That's a biggun for us. It NEVER snows here in Wellington...ok, so it was only a quick dusting and you couldn't compare it as a snow dump in any other country, but it WAS snow! The kids were thrilled they got to walk home in it cos I was at work lol

This morning the wind is whistling and howling outside, rocking my house around. You know, it's almost like we're in the same country...kinda, sorta, ok, not really, but so far the weather is doing well lol

Hope the weekend you're having (about to have) is a good one!
